Osho Jain Is Inviting the Whole Country Home With 'Mere Ghar Chalo'
The Hindi indie songwriter behind "Dekha Hi Nahi" has a new single out and a tour running into March 2027, with dates well beyond the metro circuit.

An indie tour in India usually means Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Pune, and Hyderabad if the numbers work. Osho Jain's new tour plays all of them. It also stops in Meerut, Dehradun, Kanpur, Varanasi, Siliguri, Guwahati, Raipur, Nagpur, Bhubaneswar, Rajkot and Manali.
It is called Osho Jain Experience | Mere Ghar Chalo. Oriole Entertainment, which is producing and promoting it, has it opening in Bengaluru on 28 November and Hyderabad on 29 November, then running through December, January and February before Pune on 13 March and Mumbai on 14 March 2027. That is a long road for a songwriter whose catalogue was made at bedroom scale.
Oriole's own calendar has 34 dates on it: two in November, eleven in December, ten in January, nine in February and the two closing nights in March. Five cities get two visits each. Mumbai has a show on 4 December as well as the finale, and Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune and Delhi come round twice. The weekends are packed tight, with Meerut and Dehradun on the two nights after Delhi on 18 December, and Lucknow, Kanpur and Varanasi back to back over Christmas.
The promoter is better known for comedy. Oriole, based in Gurugram, has run live shows since 2017 and its roster lists comedians Anubhav Singh Bassi and Harsh Gujral alongside music acts such as Shilpa Rao, Rabbi Shergill and Lakhwinder Wadali.
The catalogue
His biggest song is "Dekha Hi Nahi", track three on the 2024 EP Uff, which he put out again as a single in 2025, this time with Sanchi. Before that there was "Tu Aisa Kaise Hai?" in 2020, "Khud Se" from the Wahaan EP and "Humara Ho Gaya" from the 2021 album Saar. This year he released live versions of "Humara Ho Gaya", "Khud Se" and "Tujhse Badhkar Nahi Hai", recorded at the Royal Opera House in Mumbai in 2025.
There are film credits too, "Ishq Tera" on the Article 370 soundtrack and his vocal on "Yeh Safar" from Citadel: Honey Bunny. They sit at the edge of the catalogue. The tour listing describes him as "known for his introspective songwriting and poetic music, exploring themes of love, loss, and personal growth", with more than 50 songs to draw on.
The new one
"Teri Marzi Hai" came out on 10 October, a single song of 3:11 under his own name, following "Gayenge Hum Tere Hi Liye" earlier in the year. Jain is credited as both composer and rights holder. Indian indie songwriters who own their masters are still few enough to count.

A gig built like a house visit
The official tour page says Jain will take the audience "back to his childhood, the places he grew up, the memories that shaped him, and the stories that found their way into his music", and that the evening should feel "less like a concert and more like spending time together in his living room". It signs off like a host at the door.
"So, come in. Make yourself comfortable."
On stage with him are players he has worked with for years: Varun Agnihotri on guitar and vocals, Pulkit Jain on keys, vocals and guitar, Bharat Chandore on drums and vocals, Jordan Machado on bass and Jayesh Malani on saxophone and guitar. Special guests are promised. The Delhi show on 18 December is listed at 90 minutes.
The route
Streaming has carried independent songs to listeners in cities that touring rarely reached, and this tour asks those listeners to buy a ticket. There are more than 30 dates, from Kochi and Coimbatore to Siliguri and Guwahati. Most of this year's big live announcements have come from film voices booking stadiums. Jain has booked rooms sized for a living-room show, including one in Raipur, where until now people have mostly heard him through earphones.
