Banjaare's 'Barsaat' Holds No 1 On Spotify India As Anirudh Climbs
Barsaat by Banjaare and Roni spends a fifth week at No 1 on Spotify's weekly India chart, while two Anirudh Ravichander songs jump more than 100 places.
"Barsaat" by Banjaare, with Roni, is still the most streamed song in India on Spotify. The weekly Top Songs India chart for the week ending Thursday, 22 October, has it at No 1 for a fifth time in its 12th week on the list. Banjaare also sit at No 7 with "Bairan", which has been charting for 34 weeks.
Nothing in the top three moved. Hamza Malik and Zain Zohaib's "Alfaaz" stays at No 2, and Anuv Jain's Coke Studio Bharat song "Arz Kiya Hai" holds No 3 in its 61st week.
The climbers
The biggest jumps belong to Anirudh Ravichander. "Ala Bolelo", with Arunraja Kamaraj, goes up 106 places to No 16 in its fourth week. "One Name", with Super Subu, rises 118 places to No 18 in only its third.
Sai Abhyankkar has two songs moving the right way. "Radhimaa", with Nargis Teji, Asma Teji and Vivek, climbs two places to a new peak of No 4. "Pavazha Malli", with Shruti Haasan and Vivek, is up 11 to No 23.
Saurav Srisan's female version of "Rathinamo", with Tanisha Gnanavel, enters the top 10 for the first time, up seven places to No 10.
