Maatrubhumi Releases 'Jai Hind', Its Patriotic Single From Himesh Reshammiya
The Himesh Reshammiya song from Salman Khan's war drama Maatrubhumi arrived on Dussehra, with Stebin Ben on vocals and lyrics by Sameer Anjaan.

"Jai Hind", the new single from Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace, came out on Dussehra as a lyrical video. The full song video followed on the film's official channels. Salman Khan and Chitrangda Singh lead the war drama.
"Jai Hind" is composed by Himesh Reshammiya and sung by Stebin Ben, with lyrics by Sameer Anjaan. It runs a little under six and a half minutes, long for a film single now, and it is built on a repeated "Jai Hind" chant. The recording is licensed to Sony Music India under the Salman Khan Films Music banner.
The production house posted the release on 21 October. It says the song is about the soldiers "who protect the country and the families who wait for them back home", and that the lyrical video was put out first so that "its words and melody" could take centre stage.
What the song is about
Salman Khan Films says the track is a tribute to soldiers and to the families who wait for them at home. The video shows Khan in army uniform leading a unit, cutting between action and quieter moments at forward posts and in family homes. The production house describes it as a song about "the courage, sacrifice and spirit of India's brave soldiers".
Khan and Reshammiya go back a long way. The composer has scored several of the actor's films, and the two last worked together around three years ago.

The film
Maatrubhumi is directed by Apoorva Lakhia and produced by Salma Khan under the Salman Khan Films banner. It is said to be inspired by real accounts of military action along the border. The supporting cast includes Zeyn Shaw and Abhishrri Sen.
The film was earlier known as Battle of Galwan and went through reshoots before taking its current title. Recent reports say it has gone back to the censor board for certification. A November release, a week or two after Ramayana reaches cinemas, has been talked about. The makers have not confirmed a date.
"Jai Hind" is on the major streaming platforms, and the video is on YouTube.
