Ramayana's 'Judi Jodi': Rahman's Wedding Song Out In Five Languages
T-Series has released 'Judi Jodi', the A.R. Rahman song for the Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi wedding sequence, a week before Ramayana Part 1 opens.

A.R. Rahman's new Ramayana song, "Judi Jodi", came out on Thursday, 29 October, with Shreya Ghoshal singing the Hindi version and a different voice for each of the other four languages. T-Series put it on streaming services and on its own YouTube channel and the film's World of Ramayana channel, with Ranbir Kapoor as Rama and Sai Pallavi as Sita on screen.
The song sits on the film's wedding sequence, the garland exchange included. It is the second song in five days built around the pair. "Mangal Rang", out on 25 October, had Ghoshal singing with Arijit Singh.
Who sings which version
The language credits, as listed by the makers and reported by India Today and India TV:
- Hindi: Shreya Ghoshal
- Tamil: Heer
- Telugu: Sireesha Bhagavatula
- Malayalam: Amritha Suressh
- Kannada: Pooja Vaidyanath
Kumar Vishwas wrote the lyrics, and the other four versions were adapted by Karthik Netha (Tamil), Rakendu Mouli (Telugu), Vinayak Sasikumar (Malayalam) and Karthik Saragur (Kannada). That is the same five-language method T-Series used for the first EP on 21 October, where Rahman handed the Tamil "Ravana Thandavam" to Anirudh Ravichander and G.V. Prakash Kumar, as we noted in our album story.
