"O Mysaa Re", the first song from the Rashmika Mandanna action film Mysaa, went up as a lyrical video on the T-Series Telugu YouTube channel at about 6.20 pm IST on Monday. Jakes Bejoy composed it, Sindhuja Srinivasan sings the Telugu version and Suddala Ashok Teja wrote the words. The track runs just under five minutes.

A Tamil version went live on T-Series Tamil within the same minute, sung by Kumara Vagdevi with lyrics by Vignesh Ramakrishna. The makers put out a short promo for the song on Sunday, Bollywood Hungama reported, and named Monday as the release date.

The lyric art is all fire and crowd: Mandanna in a red sari at the centre, women with torches and curved blades around her. Brinda is the film's choreographer in the label credits. Great Andhra and Gulte credit her with the song's dance and describe a percussion-heavy track built around a large group of dancers.

Mysaa is the first film as director for Rawindra Pulle, who also wrote it. UnFormula Films produces, and the label's description calls the film an emotional action thriller set in the world of the Gond tribes, with Mandanna playing a Gond woman. Eshwari Rao, Rahul Ravindran, Samuthirakani, Rao Ramesh and Shiva Kandukuri are also in the cast. Bejoy writes the background score as well.
