Salman Khan Sings 'Teri Sexy Beauty' For Maatrubhumi, With Muskaan On The Female Vocal

Salman Khan sings "Teri Sexy Beauty", the newest song from Apoorva Lakhia's Maatrubhumi: May War Rest In Peace, which went up on the Salman Khan Films Music YouTube channel at about 5.10 am IST on Wednesday, 4 November. Muskaan takes the female vocal. Chitrangda Singh is on screen with him, and the Indian Express says it is the first time the two have been paired.

Salman announced it himself with a caption written like a flight announcement, opening "Departure time 5:12 am", as India Today and The Times of India quoted it. The Indian Express described the song as his return to playback singing after 11 years, and listed "Hangover" from Kick (2014) and "Main Hoon Hero Tera" from Hero (2015) as his previous film songs.

The video opens on Salman walking into a studio and putting on headphones, then moves to an aeroplane hangar, where Chitrangda plays a guitar in a red sari and the dancers are dressed as air hostesses, according to the Indian Express. The label's own description calls it "love, masti and a little madness".

The artwork also carries the line "A Himesh Reshammiya Musical", the banner the label uses on the film's title track, "Chand Dekh Lena" and "Jai Hind". Sajid Khan is the only composer credited on this one.

The film

Maatrubhumi is presented by Salman Khan Films and produced by Salma Khan, with Salman and Chitrangda in the leads. The makers have not announced a theatrical release date. India Today notes that 13 November has been mentioned as a possible date, without confirmation from the makers.
